Kesco started as a traditional freight forwarder when most of the industry still ran on paper and phone calls. The business that exists today is different in almost every technical respect — but the operating principle hasn’t changed. Know your clients. Build the program around their freight. Founded in New York
1989 – Kesco opens its doors as a traditional international freight forwarder, headquartered in New York. From the start, the business is built around personal client relationships rather than volume-first logistics.
Expanding Services and Coverage
Growth – Kesco grows beyond traditional forwarding — adding customs brokerage, specialty programs for retail, apparel, and IT assets, and building an agent network across the major trade lanes. FMC license and IATA certification establish the regulatory foundation.
Investing in the Kesco Platform
Technology – Kesco builds its own technology platform — giving clients real-time visibility into shipment status, order management, and freight data. The platform connects Kesco's operational team with client supply chains directly.
